Sep 6, 2010. #1. I now have a D-17 and it has no filler by the governor like my WD and WD-45 so it has to be filled at the breather on top of the valve cover. Of course, its a lot easier because the hood panel comes off rather easily. Like someone said, it all ends up down in the oil pan anyway.
