About a year ago I went to put it into 4wd and the shifter just had free play. So I go look under there and the rod is gone, the rod the connects the shift handle to the lever on the transfer case.Dec 12, 2023 · I recall doing the same thing, way back when I redid my np261hd. I think it had a lip that extended past the outside of the housing, so it was relatively easy to slowly work the seal out. 2004 Sierra 3500 dually, 6.0L extended cab, cab&chassis flatbed, upgraded to 4wd. 2012 Silverado 3500 dually, 6.0l, crew cab, long box replaced w flatbed.
