Looking for info on a FN Browning A5 12 Gauge I purchased a couple days ago. Serial number is 60 26149 with a number 1 above it. Barrel reads "fabrique nationale d'armes de guerre herstal-belique", below it "Acier Special C12 CART 2 3/4" and is solid ribbed. Proof markings on action side of gun and bolt are pictured.It is a 12 ga Browning A5, plain barrel, 2 3/4",made in belgium. It has Browning Arms Company St Louis Mo on top of barrel. Serial #42xx with a lighter stamped ' M ' above it. This is on bottom and forward of receiver. Barrel serial # is 2xx with an F above it.
