Edit- also dragons are assholes, one lagged up my game to 3 fps from a consistent 65. Optifine. Disable 'Better Foilage'. Disable vsync / VBOs. Make sure all settings are on fast/minimal.. I also recommend 12- chunks and 5-6 GB ram (since the pack says 3-4 GB recommended: see Java garbage collection for more info)

Edit: Got optifine to work, now I just need to get shaders to work. Download optifine 1.12.2, place it in the mod folder, open optifine, extract to the mod folder. Presto, downloaded. Your specs should definitely be fine, I have played Rlcraft with Sildurs with much lower specs. (Also RLCraft is kind of beautiful even without Shaders lol Generally I at least allocate 4 to 8 gigs of RAM, usually for me it runs quite well (for me). It is absolutely fun with friends, this is the best torture you can subject them (and yourself) to.
