Upon closer inspection of the parts and assembly, I believe there are two options. 1. Use the existing housing and try to find a camera that will match lenses. Just my 2 cents, When I first got my jeep on 05, I primed the entire frame with Rustoleum primer and Rustoluem professional paint. Came out really good, and still holding up today. Dirt and mud wash right off. The primer is pretty heavy.

I used the totally stainless kit on my AMC 360 rebuild (it does not come with head bolts btw).. and I also purchased their Bellhousing kit. The 360 kit was good.. was nice having the correct bolt in labeled baggies instead of trying to determine what I need at the hardware store.

I have the non HO 4.7 and about a month back I started getting a really bad knock at the top of my revs or if I let off the gas during an acceleration. I checked my oil and I was 4 quarts down!! When I drained it, it was black. Personally I believe the 42re is a reliable transmission. It doesn't really seem to have any common issues, maybe bad solenoids. Mine has 231,000, seems fine. Use the correct fluid, keep them cool, use O/D off when towing anything. Enjoy. If you're transmission doesn't have a vent it vents through the transfer case. If you add a seal to the output shaft it can't vent.
