My rig has over 8000 miles on it now and I only rarely have a slight "idle fluctuation". I would not call it a vibration as it is too smooth to be annoying. The surging you (OP) speak of, might be the transmission "shifting" up a gear, as you gently coast to a stop.I now noticed while idle (in drive, park and neutral) there is a vibration that is noticeable. This also only happens when the engine warms up. Seems like a low idle but there is no way to manually adjust the idle on these cars. When the AC is off and the car is at idle, the dash guage shows 750 RPM but my scanner shows about 680.
