M4 vs 1301.

Canadian here looking to get my first shotgun. Deciding on a shotgun, been researching but I want opinions of real owners not just youtube reviewers. In Canada the prices for these guns differ around 600 each, 940 is $1600 Cad reg price. 1301 is around $1600-2k. M4 is anywhere from $2500 on a sale to 3k. The M4 is a tank, very heavily built with a big following. Both excellent guns, but the 1301 just feels better in my hands, if you can, try shooting both & see what feels better to you, with shotguns personal preference seems to vary alot. The 1301 is a much more modern design (especially the Mod 2) and in some aspects beats the M4 in terms of quality of life features and ergonomics (larger bolt release, larger magazine from the factory, better trigger, lighter, faster cycling from a more refined gas system, etc.) that do give it a legitimate leg up over the M4. 4.
