If I use BlurXTerminator after SPCC, as last process before stretching, then the result fits well, the points are all close to the lines in the SPCC analysis (Picture 1). But if I do it like in the tutorials, between DBE and SPCC, I get a clear purple tinge in the image and the dots form a cloud around the lines (Picture 2).If you use MaskedStretch instead of HT, you can bring out more of the faint dust without blowing out the core. After the main stretch, you can use exponential transformation with a mask that protects the brightest areas, to push the weaker parts a little. My last couple of WBPP runs have had issues during the "Plate solving reference frames" and "autocrop" steps. Used to work fine. i think if you go to Scripts > Feature Scripts... and look at the dialog box you'll see there are 2 WBPP lines. uncheck one of them and click "done". i've never actually tried to do this before and the dialog is a little confusing (does "done" commit your changes?) but it is worth a try. rob.
