R22 low side pressure at 70 degrees.

At 70 degrees F, I'm measuring 30-32 psi on the low side and 250 psi on the high side. When the radiator fan kicks in from low to high speed, the high side pressure drops to about 225 psi. No idea what triggers the fan speed. I found a AC pressure chart online that said at this temperature, my low should be around 35psi and high at 150psi.

Changes during pregnancy cause blood vessels to expand rapidly. The changes may cause blood pressure to drop. Low blood pressure is common in the first 24 weeks of pregnancy. Blood pressure usually returns to pre-pregnancy levels after giving birth. Heart and heart valve ...Not much more to add, really. 0 PSI on R-12 is about -21 degrees. Depending on your target temperature, you will be very close to, if not below atmospheric on the low side. If you had to put more than half the charge in it, you probably have an obstruction at the metering device. Reply.Low side should usually be ~70-75 psi at that indoor temp and high side should be 170+psi (depending on how dirty your coil is and seer rating). And while you can't tell exactly how much refrigerant you're down without exact numbers for your system (metering device, indoor wetbulb, dirty coil) you can usually tell if you're low.

The needle valve may also get stuck partially open from grit or a sludging condition in the oil. This will cause high pressure to go directly into the compressor's crankcase causing high low-side pressures and low high-side pressures. The oil return line on an oil separator should be just above the ambient (surrounding) temperature.

How do they make it happen, thanks. Reply: Matthew: The low side pressure when the compressor is running is a feature of the compressor's own pumping power combined with the properties of whatever device is being used to meter refrigerant into the system. That creates the pressure drop between high and low sides.
