Textbook: Yes. This is the BEST professor to take for STAT 318. Average for other sections was 70% while ours was 90%. She posts her notes online, so I never went to class. There is no graded hw (which I thought was bad at first), but she gives optional hw with solutions that has the same problems as weekly quizzes.

STAT 318 and STAT 414. I'm CMPSC and I took STAT 318, and I have a friend who took 414 (I believe it was 414). From what she told me, 318 seemed much easier. Though, if you are aiming for the double major, it might do you better to take 414.
