The jump jets recharge almost immediately when the Prawn is on the ground, but recharge very slowly while suspended in air. Bonus tip. If you get the grapple arm, you can make the Prawn travel a lot faster while jumping.

Without the grapple arm in the original game and in below zero I’d have lost 3 or 4 prawn suits. The prawn just seems to have a problem sometimes on land getting stuck on little or nothing.
