I just wanted to share my thoughts on Bootmod3 stage 1 (ACN91) now that I just came back from a drive with it after flashing it from completely stock. My factory warranty expired this month, so I decided to add some pep to the car. It is a 2017 ZCP M3 with BMC filters, Bilstein DDC coilovers and an Akrapovic Evo system. Everything else is stock.If you're going to keep the stock airbox just keep the stock paper filters & remove the carbon filters. The stock paper filters flow better than anything else out there and do a better job of filtering out dirt. We've seen solid 10-15whp gains up top at higher boost levels with the BMS style intake that retains the factory airbox bottom.If you plan on tracking the car or want to extract every ounce of performance out of the car, then F82. If you don’t plan on tracking it and can tolerate the extra lbs, then the F83 is more comfortable and, of course, it’s awesome to go topless in nice weather. __________________. My F80 was my daily driver and my G80 is my current daily driver. As a daily, the G80 is lightyears better than the F80. The interior is much improved from the last gen. I love the looks and the power/driving dynamics are great! The F80 was a great car as well, but was not as comfortable as a DD looking back on it.
