Either way, if your provider says that you are 1-cm dilated it is definitely time to start to prepare for labor. May 2015. You could be 3 cm dialated for weeks. It's hard to tell. Hopefully little one sits tight for a bit. I would just do some watchful waiting. If you have concerns I would call your OB/Triage or go to triage. I'll be 36 weeks next week.
