1,403 Posts. Mar 6, 2017. Yesterday I took the NCLEX. I started at 2pm and finished at 430pm. The test shut off at 95 questions and it ended with a SATA question that I know I got right. I felt all the color leave my face and I wanted to vomit right there in the middle of the testing center when that computer shut off!I had a feeling I was getting shut off at 85, so I made sure to really take my time on those last few questions. I truly 100% believe I failed and this was a feeling I didn't have from my previous attempts and I am now realizing that maybe this is what you're supposed to feel like. - Lastly, have faith in yourself.nclex shut off at 85.
