Ffxiv audio cuts out.

I'm having this issue with ableton where my audio tracks seem to be stuttering or just cutting in and out (demonstrated on the bottom of the image.) I've been having issues where game's audio cuts in and out or skips, chops, etc. It's total sound not just certain sounds. Usually going to audio output settings and changing from HDMI to optical and back fixes it but only termporarily and sometimes this WONT fix it, I'll just have to ride it out. Seems this fixes issues on other PS4 games with this problem but that it's a firmware problem on PS4.

Switched from DX11 to DX9, got sound back. Game runs terribly on DX9 for me, so I tested if switching back to DX11 would retain sound and my sound now works on DX11. ... It's happened to me a few times where the game audio stops completely, but I've been able to restore it by alt-tabbing out and going into windows sound settings while the game is running, changing the output device to something else (like headphones), then setting it back.
