The DA is lighter. 3W has WAY more torque , higher compression, and low end grunt than the DA.. The 3w 110 CS will out perform a DA120. 3w 110 classic is on par with the DA 120. The 3W runs a bit smoother. A modern 60-70cc mid wing plane will fly differently--much more precise and aggressive for aerobatics and 3D. I currently have a 3dhs slick 89. Super good flying characteristics. I fly some 3D, but certainly not hardcore 3D. I don't see myself doing that anytime soon either. Maybe is a slick 89 overkill for me also.
