I have two '86 Honda 350 4x4's that are in great shape. I just rebuilt the carburetor on one of them and it runs great. Problem is that now when it is running, gas is coming out of the vent line from the lower back side of the fuel pump, and squirting out where it ends up in the headlight.Open up the carb drain to see if there’s fuel in the bowl and try turning it over with an empty bowl and drain open—fuel pump should run trying to refill it. Common problems is rusty sediment and water in tank—leads to sediment trapping in the tank suction lines. Seds also cut the rubber lever seal in the petcock.I just bought a 2005 Honda rancher 350 4x4. The front drive shaft was removed for some reason, I'm not sure why yet, but it runs and rides great however oil is spraying out from the front cover where the shaft should be.
