Neither the fob nor the power lock switches will lock/unlock the driver's side sliding door. Jul 2, 2018 · The battery died and locked the driver side sliding door open. The road side mechanic was able to push open the clasp with a metal bar from the spare tire kit. At the bottom of the sliding door is a metal arm which holds the door from closing on you, a small clasp when pushed was able to release the door enough that we could close it manually.

As I remeber remove the rubber guard, just one bolt and the piece comes out. Pull the sensor and the wiring harness out together. Don't drop the wire back into the frame. Turn the sliding door switch to off position then pull the handle inside and push them closed manually.
