The revamp to Lake of Shadows is terrible. I know it's not a new or unique opinion. It's just so damn tedious and annoying of a strike. Two payload escorts, spam waves, two additional 'bosses', obnoxious threshers, etc. It's not hard just so painfully tedious. The only change I liked is the ending boss mechanic.
The cheese spot on the roof beam still works. You can still get hit, so having rifts or other sources of healing (devour, healing nade) would be beneficial. In Esoterickk's solo clear he could just strafe left and right on the beam to avoid getting hit, but in a team of 3 there won't be room to do that. I've completed it dozen of times on a strand hunter without well or cheese. Make tangle point above the boss, so you can grapple from any side comfortably for Woven mail buff and grapple+melee combo on ads for orbs. Lake of Shadows GM . Question Anyone got a consistent strat for the boss room (other than the cheese)? Had a crack at it before and it was chaos.
