I turned the ignition and immediately the Engine light came on and started blinking, then the VTM and VSA lights came on shortly thereafter. Besides that I could feel the engine wasn't running smoothly. My 2003 Honda Pilot's Check Engine and VTM-4 lights were on and car vibrated when idle. The manual says the engine icon (check engine) is emissions related. I had just finished filling the tank at the gas station. I thought I got quite a few "clicks" after tightening the fuel cap. My impression is that several systems work together and a problem in one system can cause another to misbehave also. My solution has been to buy an inexpensive reader tool and keep it in the car so if a problem shows it's self I can read it on the road and reset it as needed.
