If you pay you get in but it doesn't really have any benefit. They invited me when I had a 2.5 GPA my sophomore year so yeah, that's when I knew they weren't very selective. It is garbage. There is no benefit in this for online people. I literally just used my work meetings to fulfill this requirement. In fact, NSLS does not validate your meetings so really, you can just make stuff up and send it in to NSLS for approval. After that and some intro things...you're in. One of the things that really bugged me is their constant emails ... There's a bunch of membership benefits that the $95 buys you including potential scholarships and internship opportunities but in my opinion, the leadership training is worth the $95 alone.
