Honestly, she is a great professor. She is very passionate, eccentric, and cares about her students. But man is she one of the harshest graders I've ever had at LSU. Prepare to have 1-2 assignments a week for this course, and they'll take about 1-3 hours a piece. She will prepare you for your honors thesis process. Just be ready for a lot of work.Grade: A-. Professor Benfield is very kind, but the lectures can be boring. Attendance is not mandatory, but he gives extra credit for attendance on random days.
