As an owner of the Litter Robot 4, I was thrilled when the new model was released. However, to take advantage of the upgrades, I had to perform a reset of my unit. Resetting the Litter Robot 4 is actually quite straightforward if you follow the steps. To start, make sure your Litter Robot 4 is unplugged and the globe is in the home position.
Have a table or a box at least 13.5’’H handy. Turn the base upside down and set it on top of the table or box so that the bezel hangs over the edge. Locate the old lower waste port seal strips. Use a putty knife, flathead screwdriver, or your fingernail to lift the corner of a strip and peel off all four (4) strips.If a cat attempts to enter the unit during a cycle, the Globe will stop with the Light Bar displaying red, indicating the cycle has been interrupted.
