End result, the sensors in the back needed to be replaced. It hasn't happened since. 2016 Outback 3.6R + Eyesight + Nav + Moon Roof. Put car in reverse. On the screen next to the camera view hold your finger on RAB to disable it. I have a hitch mount rack that lives on the car and RAB turns off with an announcement each time you first back up. Then, when I put the car in drive, it turns the RAB system light back on.
