Dec 2, 2014 · When you jumped it at the starter you bypassed all the other stuff. Sounds like the problem is in the starter itself. It could be as simple as cleaning and lube. If this is more than you want to tackle, then unmount the starter (after disconnecting battery) and take it to a shop which does starters and alternators. Tractor. kubota L3400 with loader. With the wife turning the key I have voltage at the starter but no voltage at the starter relay singe wire. Jumped it over and ran it for 10 mins to blow out the winter.

When the knob is pulled, the decomp shaft rotates & pushes down on the exhaust valves, opening them slightly. If yours isn't hooked up, maybe the shaft got bumped or moved enough to open the valves.
