With my first I lost the mucus plug around 39weeks and nothing happened for a while. I had some blood when the did a strech n sweep of my membranes but nothing significant. I finally went into labour 10 days after my due date. I didn't get the bloody show till I was well into labour (close to 7 cms before they broke).I had a sweep 2 days ago and was 1cm, almost 2-3cm. I started losing my mucus plug later that day. I'm still just crampy in and off like I have been for almost two weeks, nothing else. Labour is near mama. I lost mine with ds but still had to be induced, some people loose it during labour, right before labour, or weeks/days before labour. Unfortunately there isn't really much telling how far away labour is.
