And even then there isn’t that much of that. There are many zombies dressed in military uniforms, but in the base there is no area with weapons. So in my opinion the loot there is not worth the amount of zombies. I am relatively new to the game and my longest run yet was ruined by having a desire to explore that base.

I decided to visit the military base, my first time. It took me, roughly, two game-time months to clear the trees and kill all zombies.

There's a military surplus store northwest of Rosewood that had a ton of military clothing (no backpacks or helmets when I went there).The secret army base is pretty neat, although apparently swarming with zeds (I've never lived long enough to make it there to check). Ahh, this explains that. We had VERY few zombies spawn in the base, and they were all (I think) wearing civilian clothes. Probably only 5-10 zeds in the whole base when we came through. You are not playing the beta build then. Found that out myself some days ago.
