Overall a good fit for the 709 slim.However,the weak point on this holster is the metal belt clip.I am using this on a uncle mike's re-inforced intructors belt.Width of belt is an inch and a half.Holster would rock back and forth on the belt so badly that the clip would come off the belt completely.I removed the metal clip and now slide my belt through the sewn on large belt loop and it works ...

KelTec and Taurus both seem to generate a love 'em or hate 'em relationship with the people who buy them and more so with people who have had friends who owned them. Also unlikely that any other 9MM magazine will work. A while back there was talk about a 9 rd. mag, but I'm not sure anyone has ever seen one.
