The sfar is really a niche AR10. If you want something lightweight but possibly more fragile and higher recoil then that’s for you. The muzzle stops and starts quickly and breaking the trigger on target then getting back on target is no real challenge, especially considering the chambering. It’s a .308 autoloader that’s easy to shoot and extremely easy to carry.
However, he is using a Faxon barrel, which the Roam uses. He’s also using mostly all V7 parts and a really nice Griffin Titanium mini brake, while Roam only offers a thread protector with their complete rifles. So do the best of both worlds. Buy a Roam Receiver set and handguard and buy and build the rest.
