Langelg6 Discussion starter. 1 post · Joined 2020. #1 · Oct 12, 2020. Chevy Malibu hard shift from park-drive, reverse but no hard shift from drive,reverse-park. Shifts smoothly from gears 1-4. Gonna try and replace the filter and fluid, take a little out and replace with lucas trans slip fix. Anyone know what the issue could be?

Same as others, shifted to park, turned off, "shift to park" message on DIC, beeps, lights on, radio on after getting out.Many owners have had the price reduced. $150 is a common reduced price (lots better than the $700). I could get the message to go off by either touching or lightly pressing the gear-shift release button or by cycling through the gears and then shifting back to park and shutting off the engine.
