Hello MDX'ers, I recently purchased a used 2015 MDX SH-AWD with 120,000+ miles. It too has this issue of the brake pedal being very hard to push down enough to push button start the vehicle. Check to make sure the brake lights are turning on when you hit the brake pedal. Following the great advice here, I got both the security gate to my subdivision and the garage door to my house (with a rolling code) programed into my MDX homelink and it works great! The trick on the rolling code was to push the MDX Homelink button three times (slowly) rather than push and hold.The door lock beep issue is most likely a faulty door latch not telling the car that all of the doors are closed.
