I have a 2010 90 HP EFI 4-stroke mercury. I bought the boat from my father in-law who said it did not have any issues. Obviously it does. So when i bought it there was an issue with fuel starvation due to the fuel pump cavity not being drained for winter storage last year. I replaced the internal float and no more starvation.

Jun 12, 2017 · I bought a pontoon a few weeks ago with the 90 hp 4 stroke efi motor. It had been stored for about a year and it had ethanol fuel in it. I drained all of the fuel out of it, cleaned the fuel supply module out, flushed the lines, cleaned the injectors, all are spraying good, installed new fuel filters and replaced the spark plugs.
