Temperature is normal as well. Not faced any corruption or other disk issues yet. Renders about 45-80 Mbps (just transferred a couple files to check). WD is considered one of the best brands in hard storage. Other options may be Kingston, Toshiba and others. Though I haven't used them and can't really suggest.

Don't get all your storage at the same time. 10-20 years is a long time to expect the drive to last without some moving data to newer devices. WD drives larger than 8TB are CMR but I don't think it will matter for your case. Alternatively, go for HDD plus cloud like B2 or Wasabi.
