AFAIK, they either get cleared out automatically when tinfoil is closed OR when remaining space gets below a certain %. I believe that it’s actually not used if the “stream install” setting is on in the main tinfoil options. As games are installed as they download in that mode, it wouldn’t make sense to cache the files.

After that tinfoil would not open. So I deleted it and got the latest version (from the original store). But this can't be loaded as nsp, applet or self-installation. It comes either the message: Faulty files (for self installation) or "not enough memory" for applet. Sigpatches are up to date, old tinfoil was completely deleted.
Delete the Tinfoil app (+ button over app on home screen and delete) then open the HB Menu and re-install Tinfoil, open and let it update then open again and give it a try.
