A friend of mine recently switched to spectrum and got the new Wifi 6 router. One of these models. Models: SAX1V1R , SAX1V1K , SAX1V1S They can connect there phones and tablets with no issues. But they have a computer that's about 5-10 years old that can't see the network. It sees other wifi networks but does not see the new spectrum network.

The modem was the same, but the Router is.....bad. First off, you can no longer sign into it. Doing so, forces you to download their App to change anything related to it.
I have an Askey SAC2V1K and I heard it automatically changes from 5 to 2.4 but I haven't been able to connect it to the wifi. That router doesn't give the option to disable it. The SAC routers don't give you that option. You cannot turn it off. You do not get advanced settings with those models of Spectrum routers.
