This seems to be an old post but I figured I'd add my experience. I recently got Uverse and have the equipment in a separate room. My receiver is a VIP 2250. I have the att rf remote because of the location of the equipment. The tv is located in the living room and the receiver is in the next room with a very thin wall in-between.You have three choices -. 1. Always the soundbar - att/ok -955- aux -enter. 2 follow the mode button - att/ok -955 - enter While watching push TV or aux to control the right device. The third choice uses the same programming as #2. Set the STB sound to 15.
