Using the cross-quantilogram technique, the current study first decomposed oil shocks pertaining to demand and supply and analyzed their asymmetric impact on BRIC markets.

In this paper, we propose an extreme Granger causality analysis model to uncover the causal links between crude oil and BRICS stock markets.
