In particular, bending the flat can be difficult to do properly. You can either DIY a bending jig or buy one.I used a 5.5" CAR15 flash hider and cut it down to around 4.5" and cut 4 grooves in it to make a 4 prong flash hider. Happy how it turned out, be better if I had a mill but used a drill press, files and a dremel tool. Cold blued it after. I've only ever done AK's but a press and toth tool rivet jaws along with the AK builder rivet jig, front trunnion drilling jig, trunnion support, and trigger guard support will get you through a build with a pre bent 80%.
