Stuck in Park, no P light noted. I have reviewed my problem on several threads. Van occasionally won't shift out of Park, when the P light is not lit. I changed the brake switch for $14, and the brake lights and back up lights work. For the last few days I haven't been able to shift out of park unless I put my key in the hole on top of the steering column and put it in neutral, then re-crank the car and then shift to Reverse or Drive. This is happening every time. The shop we took it to had rebuilt tranny's for Honda's and Acura's. The guy said it was a really common problem after 100K miles. We had the tranny replaced along with some sensors, but every now and then the ignition won't turn all the way off.
