By that, I mean that future development and improvements in cameras and lenses is likely to take place in the mirrorless space. But for now, the D850 is hard to beat. Glenn. Around the time I got the D300, I had replaced nearly all my AF lenses with AF-S. I only saved the 50mm AF and 28mm AF. I just don't think there are a lot of people out there who have moved to mirrorless who are attached to AF lenses enough that they are begging for an FTZ with built in motor. I've done a quick search and can't see this has been raised before. On a few occassions with a fully charged battery the low battery charge indicator has appeared on my D700 and I have lost power. After reinserting the battery power is restored and everything is fine. It's happened about half a dozen times over the last few months.
