Century C308 - Loose Safety. I recently bought a Century CETME 308 'Classic' with the wood furniture. I know in the past these things have been a crap shoot as far as what you get, but mine at least so far has been solid. Welds look good, the bolt isn't ground down, spacing is good, no canted sights, etc. Fires well, and surprisingly accurate.

A weak extractor spring or damaged extractor lip will allow the brass to drop out before the ejector can kick it. Your double feeds are likely a result of the brass falling off the bolt face. C308 receivers are made by PTR. PTR did a lot of work on the C308 so I find it funny when people talk about how shitty the C308 is compared to the PTR. CAI never ground a bolt head either. The ground bolt heads arrived inside the kits from Spain.
