Ram rotary shifter stuck in park.

Try starting the vehicle in park and giving it a few seconds, then apply the brake for a couple seconds before shifting.So far, the only thing I’ve found that consistently works is to allow the shift knob to cool down and also gently rotate the knob back and forth. Find the pin as well, you dont want that rolling around your tranny. There might be two pins, the roller and the pin that failed. If thats fine make sure your brake switch is working, if it somehow moved then it wont release the switch to release the lock.
