Dec 21, 2020 · 2015 Passenger Window.. not a reset. So I left my outback parked for a few days with a dome light on. It did -not- kill the battery. Now my passenger wont move from EITHER passenger side OR driver side, so it isn't a dead battery reset. I've pulled the battery for 45 min to see if I could force a reset and no luck.

So until the passenger window is "reset" such that the computer knows the difference between real obstruction and something in the way before the window is supposed to reach it's limit, it will not let the driver control it. I'm not saying this is an ideal way of handling this, but this could explain it.I don't understand though why it locks out the drivers controls, on most cars it locks out all the other controls leaving the drivers active. If if fiddle with it for a while I can get it back up. I tried the procedures from the manual and also talked about in the sticky with no change.
